Cheap Blades
Info. & Technical
No matter what plotter you use it is only as good as the blade you put in it.
Would you buy a Ferrari and fit it with bicycle tyres?
Plotter blades are - or should be - high precision instruments.
They should be made from high quality tungsten carbide.
A very expensive material.
They should be manufactured to an accuracy of a few microns.
About one tenth of the thickness of a human hair.
They should be individually inspected under a microscope.
Yes - individually!
High quality is cost effective.
That is what we provide.
But high quality rarely comes dirt cheap.
If you are really determined to buy the cheapest blades you could trawl Internet auction sites where you may find some cheap copies of our products made in far distant countries.
But please do not call us to ask why they cut badly or why they don’t fit your machine.
